With Uncle Agitz, Lindsay and Evan, and Lindsay's two dogs, we had a full house over spring break. Luckily, the weather has been amazing. Darren is very proud of his apple and peach trees in the backyard--they are alive!!

Nice nose-picking, McKay! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool statue. Is it some Roman god, or just your random tormented Missouri giant?
So fun! Been waiting for another post, haha! Love that it's spring for you!
ReplyDeleteThe sculpture is called The Awakening. According to Wikipedia this is a second casting of the orginal which was for almost 30 years in DC and is now in Rome. So, one in Rome with the Pope and one embedded in a park down the road in good ol' Midwestern MO. Interestink! And yes, McKay is an expert nose picker, of giants that is. You've heard of 12 with one blow. He can get more than that with a simple flick of an index finger. :) I love 9 year olds!!
